    “Fall Vegetable Gardening” will be presented by MG’s Owen & Alison Hofer.

    Everything you want to know about growing a fall vegetable garden: timing, preparation, care, best fall plants, and planting steps.

    All workshops are free and open to the public.

    Limestone County Master Gardeners will host a Saturday Workshop on July 20, 2024 at 10 am at the Limestone County Extension Office, 1109 W. Market St., Athens.

    “Preserving the Harvest” will be presented by AMG Barbara McFarlen. We grew it, we ate it, and we gave it away, and still have lots of garden veggies. So let’s can and
    freeze the squash, tomatoes, corn, beans, strawberries, and peaches. Our tools are hot water bath, pressure canner, and freezer.

    All workshops are free and open to the public.

    Cullman County Master Gardeners Native Azaleas and Wildflowers Sale

    The Cullman County Master Gardeners Native Azaleas and Wildflowers Sale will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 beginning at 8am at the Sportsman Lake Wildflower Garden. Native Azaleas, Ferns, Butterfly Milkweed and more will be available.
