Blount County Master Gardeners will host a Lunch and Learn on September 18, 2024 from Noon to 1pm at Allgood Town Hall. Speaker Irene Latham will present Tree Identification using the ACES Key.

Limestone County Master Gardeners will host a Saturday Workshop on September 21, 2024 at 10 am at the Limestone County Extension Office, 1109 W. Market St., Athens.
“Bring Birds Into Your Garden” will be presented by Herb Lewis.
Learn the benefits of gardening for birds. Some of the techniques for developing a backyard wildlife habitat to attract a wide variety of birds are included along with personal photographs of the birds in the garden environment.
All workshops are free and open to the public.

Calhoun County Master Gardeners will host a Lunch and Learn on September 25, 2024 from noon to one at Cane Creek Gardens, Ft McClellan, Alabama. Brian Shuler will present “Sylacauga Marble Quarry.”
Lunch and Learn Programs are free programs on gardening related topics, open to the community and sponsored by Calhoun County Master Gardeners and the Calhoun County Commission. The programs are presented on the 4th Wednesday of each month April-September from noon to 1pm. Bring your lunch and join us!
