Ready to level up your garden? Join us for Azalea 101 at the beautiful Huntsville Botanical Gardens! Hosted by the Azalea Society of America and Alabama Extension, this workshop is a deep dive into everything from propagation and supporting local pollinators.
We are thrilled to feature Buddy Lee along with other guest speakers for a full day of learning; plus, you can shop the Azalea Plant Sale immediately following the workshop to bring some of that inspiration home!
Presentations include evergreen azaleas, native azaleas, pollinators in the azalea garden, and propagating azaleas.

The AMGA Advisory Council will hold a meeting on April 21, 2026 at the Clanton Recreation Center, 305 1st Street North, Clanton, Alabama at 10 am. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Our Hospitality Chair, David Daniel, has suggested a theme of “Earth Day.” If you would like to bring a food item related to that theme, please do.
The mission of the Alabama Master Gardeners Association, Inc. is to assist and support the Alabama Cooperative Extension System in its education outreach program. The AMGA also supports the local master Gardener Associations in their pursuit of continuing education in the field of horticulture providing volunteer service through horticultural based assistance education and community projects.
The Alabama Master Gardeners Association is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation – Assisting Local Associations in Horticulture Programs for the Community.
