    Calhoun County Master Gardeners Lunch & Learn

    Calhoun County Master Gardeners will host a Lunch and Learn on May 22, 2024 from noon to one at Cane Creek Gardens, Ft McClellan, Alabama. Andrew Coleman, Biology Professor, Talladega College, will present “Turtles.”

    Lunch and Learn Programs are free programs on gardening related topics, open to the community and sponsored by Calhoun County Master Gardeners and the Calhoun County Commission. The programs are presented on the 4th Wednesday of each month April-September from noon to 1pm. Bring your lunch and join us!

    Choose from a wide selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables,
    natives, grasses, and more such as lenten roses, cannas, rudbeckia,
    daylilies, a variety of tomatoes and herbs, iris, Oakleaf hydrangeas,
    3 foot tall blueberry bushes (Tif-blue, Climax and Premier), and
    Brown Turkey figs and more.

    Sharpening services will be available for dull gardening implements.

    Free admission & Free parking
    Cash & Checks accepted

    Funds raised benefit public gardens and
    community service facilities throughout the Shoals area.
