Limestone County Master Gardeners: Gettin’ Dirty at the Library
Join Limestone County Master Gardeners for Gettin’ Dirty at the Library on July 9, 2024 from 11-noon at the Athens-Limestone Public Library, 603 Jefferson Street. Horticulturalist Katrina Mitchell and the Huntsville Botanical Gardens present “Plants Endemic to North Alabama.”
Gettin’ Dirty at the Library is free and open to the public.

Limestone County Master Gardeners will host a Saturday Workshop on July 20, 2024 at 10 am at the Limestone County Extension Office, 1109 W. Market St., Athens.
“Preserving the Harvest” will be presented by AMG Barbara McFarlen. We grew it, we ate it, and we gave it away, and still have lots of garden veggies. So let’s can and
freeze the squash, tomatoes, corn, beans, strawberries, and peaches. Our tools are hot water bath, pressure canner, and freezer.All workshops are free and open to the public.
