DESCRIPTION:Limestone County Master Gardeners will host a Saturday Workshop on July 20\, 2024 at 10 am at the Limestone County Extension Office\, 1109 W. Market St.\, Athens. \n“Preserving the Harvest” will be presented by AMG Barbara McFarlen. We grew it\, we ate it\, and we gave it away\, and still have lots of garden veggies. So let’s can and\nfreeze the squash\, tomatoes\, corn\, beans\, strawberries\, and peaches. Our tools are hot water bath\, pressure canner\, and freezer. \nAll workshops are free and open to the public.
